INDUSTRIAL OIL & GAS OPERATIONS

Early Warning System (EWS) for Risks in Industrial Oil and Gas Operations

We provide very local, reliable meteorological forecasts on a short-term basis (48 hours) and forecasts with longer time scales (monthly to seasonal forecasts), in order to warn of potential operational or environmental risks in the oil and gas industry.

Every stage of the life cycle of an oil and gas project (exploration, feasibility study, environmental impact study, construction, operation and closure), in its different variants (onshore and offshore) and production stages, needs specific meteorological solutions.

The main features of the system are:

  • A variety of models of accurate, short-term (2 day) weather forecasting maps based on a range of variables, and preliminary forecasts of up to 7 days.
  • Calculation of pollutant dispersion trajectories to aid the monitoring of possible chemical leaks.
  • Forecast alert consultation system for monitoring networks and sections in tabular format and availability of historical records of stored data.

OIL SPILLS

Oil Spills Modelling – Rapid Support System to Enable Decision-Making in Hydrocarbon Spill Emergencies

OIL SPILLS

Based on an existing, operating metocean modelling system, we create custom platforms to support decision-making in the event of oil spill emergencies, both offshore and for islands, bays and ports.

CTrackM CHEMICAL RISKS

Rapid Support System to Enable Decision-Making in Chemical Risk Emergencies

CTrackM CHEMICAL RISKS

CTrackM (Chemical Track Modelling) is an online solution which supports decision-making in chemical emergencies (paths and fast dispersion) and aids in the detection of the possible origin of emissions (backtracking).
