Meteosim presented the current state-of-the-art of high resolution climate change simulations at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington DC, USA. On 22, 23 and 24 July, Oriol de Tera, CEO, and Josep María Solé, Project Manager, presented the current status of modelling techniques for assessing the potential impact of climate change on sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, health, transport and other aspects related to risk management and adaptation to climate change. Two case studies were presented, namely projects conducted in Nicaragua and Costa Rica where Meteosim provided assessments of climate change scenarios in several strategic sectors.
