Meteogrid
MeteoGrid is a Meteosim's product addressed to companies, institutions and research centers that need a meteorological source of different and high quality data and applications to make their tasks and functions or develop its own value added products. The base of Meteogrid is the MASS model (wich stands for Mesoscale Atmospheric Simulation System), as well as other meteorological models like WRF (Weather Research & Forecasting Model), WWIII (Wave Watch ocean model III), MM5 (Meoscale Model V5), GFS (Global Forecasting System), and others. These weather data are sent through the internet in the format requested by the client or are the source of customized applications.
Meteosim can extract weather forecasted information from models and present results in different formats, types, files, plots, graphics, charts.. model output results can be adapted to each client needs.

Atmospheric models adapted to each client need
While most weather companies use a third-party numerical weather prediction model, Meteosim uses our own model that can be adjusted to perform simulations anywhere in the world with detail ranging from continents to very small and specific regions. MASS model is a limited area meteorological model that can be run in hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic forms, able to resolve the regional and mesoscale atmospheric circulations. Meteosim can license the use of MASS model to private companies and research/institutional agencies to perform its own modeling systems.
Meteosim has more than 20 year's experience in the use of MASS model as well as other regional and area-limited models like MM5, WRF, and other regional models. Meteosim can also supply companies with other type of weather data as worldwide real-time observations, historical reanalysis and others and created specific meteorological database.
Meteosim can also run other regional models, as WRF (Weather and Research Forecasting Model), MM5 (Mesoscale Model V5), and can supply you with adapted weather data from Global models as GFS (Global Forecasting System). We can adapt and run each one of these regional models at different spatial resolutions up to just a few kilometers, in real time up to 4/times x day covering all your interest area. We can also run historical simulations to build a mesoscale modeling climatology database.
