Meteosim S.L.

Meteosim S.L. is a spanish company funded in 2003 by Researchers of the University of Barcelona jointly with the northamerican company Meso Inc, specialized in the development and comercial use of mesoscale models. Meso Inc., funded in 1985, has a large experience in the comercial meteorology sector.

Between 1994 and 2003, at the Astronomy and Meteorology department, the MASS model was improved and implemented in differents regions of Europe. The obtained results were recognized in the academic environment and privete sector.

Meteosim S.L. has a wide experience on other atmospheric and oceanic meteorological models such as the Mesoscale Model V5, WRF and Wave Watch III, and so on.

Nowadays Meteosim has more than 100 daily operatives simulations (all continents, different configurations and differents resolution deppending on client needs).

Meteosim activity is focused in the exploit and use of mesoscale and microscale atmospheric models. Meteosim offers a wide range of services based in its own meteorological model (Mesoscale Atmospheric Simulation System, MASS).
